Which church is true?

WHICH CHURCH IS TRUE?

According to the scriptures  it should be very easy to define the true church, in fact the Bible itself is very clear on this topic.

Ephesians 4:11
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Ephesians 4:12
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Ephesians 4:13
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

I don't want here to go in deep about the organization of the church, everybody knows that only the church of Jesus Christ lds has a prophet, 12 apostles and so on. I  want to mention this just to help the reader to think about it. The only remark I have here is that all the other churches don't believe in prophecy in the last days so they can't have prophets. Most of them maintain that they had the primitive apostles and prophets but the scripture above quoted is clear that "Till we all come in the unity of the faith, "

The church of Jesus Christ in the last days is supposed to be a missionary church, an expanding church. This is the point that I am going to analyze here.

Matthew 28:19
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mark 13:10
10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

Here Jesus was talking about the preaching to all nations in His time but according  to Daniel

Daniel 2:44
44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Daniel 2:45
45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream [is] certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

It is clear then that this prophecy is for the last days and it is clear that the stone cut out of the mountain without hands will fill the whole earth destroying the other kingdoms.

Let's go to analyze the missionary work in the church.

Luke 10:1
1 ¶ AFTER these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

So there was a special body sent forth  two and two. The church of Jesus Christ lds has the same organization.

Jesus gave information on how to perform this job to the apostles

Matthew 10:8
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Matthew 10:9
9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

Matthew 10:10
10 Nor scrip for [your] journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

Clearly who is doing now this kind of job everywhere in the world has some good points to show.

According to the prophesy of Daniel this missionary work would have given an expanding church which would have filled the earth.

Today only two churches are doing the missionary work sending people everywhere in the world two and two. The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints and the Jehovah's witnesses, the other churches not only they don't have the prophets and the other qualities mentioned in Ephesians 4 but they don't send people two and two without paying them, usually they are supported with money they are paid. The missionary of the church of Jesus Christ go without pay at their own expense. the Jehovah's witnesses go two and two like the lds missionaries but they don't have the organization mentioned in Ephesians 4 and above all they are doing this job, particularly once a week while the lds missionary are doing this every day for two years. I lived 45 years in Italy and at my door knocked only lds and Jehovah's witnesses. In seven years here in USA same thing.

Jeremiah 16:16
16 Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

I like this expression:"out of the holes of the rocks." This job it has to be done "everywhere" carefully, intensely carefully.

Sure other churches are doing some kind of missionary work but not like this and Jesus and the scriptures are clear the true church should possess this characteristics otherwise it would be an institution of men.

The prophecy of Joseph smith regarding his name acknowledged in all the world made his opponents laugh but now he is well known everywhere and their opponents forgotten. This is true even for the little groups of lds people who abandoned the lds church, like the reorganized church. Where are they now? they are just few people no preaching in the world and instead to progress is always the same. Brygham young said about the:' Time will show who is right, the work of God will progress until to fill the earth, the work of man will not."

Missionary work is the life for the church, our church is pumping oxygen every day in his heart and is growing, the other churches with an obsolete missionary work are just dying
