The curse of the serpent.

The curse of the serpent.
Genesis 3:14-15
In the scriptures are mentioned many animals, for several of them the reference is majestic, as for the horse, the lion and so on, for others the reference is of fear, as for the leviathan. For the serpent there are just word of blame and curse, and the curse quoted in the verse above is clearly confirmed from the reality. The serpent had legs this is clear from the scripture just quoted. It seems clear that the Lord wanted punish him even more than that, in fact another scripture declares  Genesis 3:15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.. It is clear that between mankind and serpent can't be friendship at all. The majority of the people fear and hate the snake at sight, it seems  just an ancestral fear within everyone of us. The Lord gave several characteristics to this animal so specifics with the purpose to remember mankind what happened in the beginning and who was the real guilty of the fallen. Not only the serpent was deprived of legs but he was provided with a tongue like a fork, to remind us that his truths are not just one like the real truth should be and when his talking his tongue goes in different direction. Almost every animal, like mankind feel and taste his food and can have joy in it, snakes swallow their food and they can't taste it. Snakes, most of them, have poison and their tongue to remind us that their speech was a lethal weapon in the beginning. Snakes without poison in they mouth usually kill people in their coils, even this is symbolic, it means that if you are taken from them in their spires probably you will die prisoner of them.
To finish this idea I'd like to add that the Lord in changing the serpent made him a perfect symbol to help us to remind what happened in the very beginning.
