The Mormon illusion part 2.

Another attack from the writer of the book, but he is not the only one to do it. It's the fact that Joseph, according to his opinion, was receiving revelation by a vessel, somebody else prefers a hat. I really don't know why they have this opinion, usually I have always found that he had the Urim and Thummim and this is, according to the Bible, a special device that God gave to his prophets. Anyway, I want to try to make them happy and say that he also used strange devices to make his prophecies. Since I like to compare our Mormon history, or Mormon doctrine to the Bible I have to quote a very interesting verse regarding this topic. 
Genesis 44:5
5 [Is] not this [it] in which my lord drinketh, and whereby indeed he divinity?
See one of the greatest characters of the old Testament used a cup to make prophecy. At this point let me tell you that they are on the same spot. Do you remember that according to our doctrine they are relatives? Well why do people make a lot of problems for one, and the other one is all right? Because they don't pay any attention to what is in the Bible. They pay attention only to the things that make them happy and that is it.
Another classical example is the fact that they attack the declaration at the beginning of the book of Mormon.
-And now, if there are faults they are the mistakes of men; wherefore, condemn not the things of God, that ye may be found spotless at the judgment-seat of Christ.
"How is it possible for a book, inspired from God Himself to contain mistakes? It is surely a proof that is false!!"
Let me go through the Bible. Maybe sometimes I will be just a little bit silly, but let me take this seriously, but with just a bit of humor.
Genesis 1:2
And the earth was without form, and void.
It seems very complicated to understand this declaration, maybe it is not a mistake but it sounds like it.
Genesis 1:26
26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
See here a singular person it is speaking at plural, people told me, "He is using a pluralis majestatis" well thus the mistake is in Genesis 3:22
¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us
Here God is speaking like He is talking to somebody else not using the pluralis majestatis, I am just curious if Moses, who wrote the Genesis, would have known that later the people would have used '"The pluralis majestatis"
Genesis 3:8
8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden.
Walking is used when the person has legs in fact if you go in Genesis 1:2
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Here or there is a mistake or God has legs.
According to the text Adam and Eve had Abel and Cain. Cain killed Abel so we are supposed to have 3 people now. But Cain was saying, when he was cursed,
in Genesis 4:14
and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me.
Who could kill him, his dad or his Mom? Well it is pretty clear that we are missing some important information here especially if you go to verse 17.
17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived.
Surely she was supposed to be his sister. See in very few chapters we have many problems to understand completely the meaning of the phrases or just wondering if we are missing some important information. But please let me go ahead.
Genesis 32:24
24 ¶ And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
Genesis 32:25
25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
Genesis 32:29
29 And Jacob asked [him], and said, Tell [me], I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore [is] it [that] thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
Genesis 32:30
30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face
I am just wondering if the person fighting with Jacob was a man or God Himself
Exodus 6:3
3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by [the name of] God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
pretty strange if you compare with
Genesis 22:14
14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said [to] this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.
Interesting JehovahJireh, literally means Jehovah see and provide. So it is easy to say that Abraham knew the name of Jehovah. Interesting... very interesting.
Numbers 16:10
10 And he hath brought thee near [to him], and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?
Or is it speaking about another priesthood or is it a mistake because the sons of Levi they already had the priesthood.
Numbers 22:20
20 And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, [and] go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.
Joshua 10:12
... Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
This one was very terrible for the Catholic Church, do you know the story of Galileo Galilei?
Deuteronomy 23:5
5 Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
Joshua 24:10
10 But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.
What really happened, Balaam cursed or was forced to bless?
Judges 13:6
6 Then the woman came and told her husband saying, "A man of God came unto me, and his countenance [was] like the countenance of an angel of God." Very terrible:

16 And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, "Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the LORD. For Manoah knew not that he [was] an angel of the LORD."

21 But the angel of the LORD did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he [was] an angel of the LORD.
Judges 13:22
22 And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.
I am just wondering if He was an angel or God. But let me go on
Judges 14:5
5 Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.
Judges 14:6
6 And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and [he had] nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.
Well they were together, so his mother and father saw everything.
Judges 14:15
15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson's wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father's house with fire:
so this warning came on THE SEVENTH DAY
Judges 14:17
17 And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay sore upon him: and she told the riddle to the children of her people.
But here it seems that she was weeping before of the warning.
1 Samuel 16:18
18 Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, [that is] cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD [is] with him.
Here David is a mighty valiant man, and a man of war and here
1 Samuel 17:33
33 And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou [art but] a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
Here is a boy. also in
1 Samuel 16:22
22 And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight.
It seems that David is well known to Saul, but in
1 Samuel 17:55
55 And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine, he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner, whose son [is] this youth? And Abner said, [As] thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell.
1 Samuel 17:56
56 And the king said, Enquire thou whose son the stripling [is].
This is a very strange passage, fortunately it is in the Bible.

1 Samuel 31:4
4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.
2 Samuel 1:14
14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD'S anointed?
2 Samuel 1:15
15 And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, [and] fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.
2 Samuel 1:16
16 And David said unto him, Thy blood [be] upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD'S anointed.
1 Chronicles 10:4
4 Then said Saul to his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.
1 Chronicles 10:5
5 And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died.
Which scripture is the correct one? You could say that is armourbearer supposed that Saul was dead, yes but the scripture is saying that he SAW that Saul was dead and after you have to consider that those scriptures are in 3 different sacred books, why anybody didn't correct the wrong one? Keep in mind that a man was killed for that, but at least he was obeying his king. Anyway, 1 Chronicles 10 :5 affirms that he was dead.
Proverbs 26:4
4 ¶ Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
Proverbs 26:5
5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
Very interesting which counsel I am supposed to follow here?
Matthew 28:9
9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet,
John 20:17
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God.
Which one is the correct one, from the second one it seems that could be dangerous to touch Him, or if not dangerous something that it was not supposed to do it.
Matthew 27:5
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
Acts 1:18
18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
Which one is the correct one?
Matthew 27:9
Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, and they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value.
Well I found that this prophecy is in Zecharias 11:12-13 but not in Jeremy. Well, my opinion is that Jeremy contained this prophecy but from the time in which Matthew wrote it was lost for us, or it is another mistake. Either way there is something wrong.
Acts 9:7
7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
Acts 26:13
13 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
Acts 26:14
14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me
Which one is the correct one?
How many animals went in the ark? Genesis 7:2 Genesis 7:3  (7) or Genesis 6:19 (2)
How old was Terah when he died? Genesis 11:32 (205) or Genesis 11:26 (145 70+75) Acts 7:4 and Genesis 12:4
How many were the relatives of Joseph? Genesis 46:26-27  Exodus 1:5 and Acts 7:14
Where was buried Jacob? Genesis 50:13 or Acts 7:15-16
How many people did die? Numbers 25:9 or 1 Corinthians 10:8
Where Aaron did die? Numbers 33:38 or Deutoronomy 10:6
When the Temple was built?  1 King 6:1 (450) or (574   40 +450+40+40+4) Acts 13:16-22 1 Chronicles 29:26,27
Who ask for the Census? 2 Samuel 24:10  2 Samuel 24:1

I left out all the mistakes one done from the copyists because there are many, especially in Kings about the ages of the various Kings, Paul quoted Christ saying, "Happier is the giving instead of receiving" but there is not a phrase like this in the Gospels, it means that something is lost, I didn't mention the many lost books, because many other people did already. I was trying to put several new insights and my purpose is not to criticize the Bible. I support and revere the Bible. All my studies are done through it. So if you are able to show me that the Bible is PERFECT I WILL ASK MY CHURCH TO REMOVE THE PHRASE AS FAR AS IT IS TRANSLATED CORRECTLY, otherwise you are supposed to accept it because it is perfectly logical, make sense?

"How can you believe a Bible that is full of contradictions? is the question and this is their answer.
If indeed the Bible does contain demonstrable errors, it would show at least those parts could not have come from a perfect, all-knowing God. We do not argue with this conclusion, but we disagree with the initial premise that the scriptures are full of mistakes. It is very easy to accuse the Bible of inaccuracies, but it is quite another  matter to prove it. Certain passages at first glance appear (sic) to be contradictory, but further investigation will show that this is not the case.
Sometimes two passages appear to be contradictory because the TRANSLATION IS NOT ACCURATE as it could be ( this is funny  these guys are closing an hole just opening another one, who decide which translation is the most correct? Maybe them!)
It must also be stressed that when a possible explanation is given to a Bible difficulty, it is unreasonable to state that the passage contains a demonstrable error. Some difficulties in Scriptures result from our inadequate knowledge (sic) about the circumstances, and do not necessarily involve an error. These only prove that we are ignorant of the background. As historical and archeological study proceed, new light is being shed on difficult portions of Scriptures and many "errors" have disappeared with the new understanding. We need a wait and see attitude on some problems. While all Bible difficulties and discrepancies HAVE NOT BEEN YET BEEN (THANKS THIS GUY IS SINCERE) cleared up, it is our firm conviction that as more knowledge is gained of the Bible's past, these problems will fade away. If this is good for the Bible it should be more true for the Book of Mormon, especially considering that the Book of Mormon declares his possible mistakes from the very beginning, instead the people who demand for a perfect book of Mormon, believe in a Bible with many discrepancy without any problem is honest and fair this?
What I am trying to prove is that people with bad feelings against the Book of Mormon and therefore The prophet Joseph Smith are not doing the things in a fair way.
